The Kaliabor College of Education was founded following a resolution passed during a public meeting on January 12, 1992. Officially inaugurated on August 5, 1992, by Prof. Dr. D.P. Boruah, former Vice-Chancellor of Gauhati University, it commenced operations from the academic year 1992-93. Nestled in a historically significant area enveloped by natural beauty, it has earned distinction as one of Assam's premier teacher training institutions.
Located approximately two hundred meters from National Highway 37, the college occupies a sprawling campus of 10 Bighas, housing its impressive college building.
The Kaliabor College of Education is situated at Kuwaritol, Kaliabor in the district Nagaon (ASSAM).
Kaliabor College of Education, now esteemed as a premier training institution in the state, has been dedicated to the field of teacher education since its inception. The college boasts a proficient teaching staff, a spacious seminar hall, a well-stocked library complete with essential textbooks and references, a state-of-the-art psychological laboratory, a computer laboratory, multiple methods rooms, separate common rooms for boys and girls, a versatile laboratory, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, cultural activities, and comprehensive computer education amenities.
