Mrs. Gitanjali Panging Gam is an experienced educator currently serving as Assistant Professor at Kaliabor College of Education, Nagaon, Assam, since October 2010. She has more than two decades of teaching experience at the higher education level.
She completed her Master’s degree (M.A.) from Dibrugarh University and qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in December 2006. She obtained her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from Gauhati University in 2010 and later completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in 2020.
Mrs. Gam has previously served as a Lecturer at Amguri College, Sivasagar, and Kaliabor Junior College, and has also been associated with Sandipani Junior College, Misa. She has research experience as a Research Assistant under an ICSSR-funded project in the Department of Political Science, Kaliabor College.
She has actively contributed to academic research and has published a paper titled “Women Empowerment through Education: A Study from Political Participation Point of View” in a conference proceeding. She has also been involved in State TET coaching, where a significant number of her students were successfully appointed as teachers.
In recognition of her dedication and commitment to the teaching profession, she was honored with the Best Teacher Award by AAMSU in 2021.
